How It Works

Three simple steps.

Register as an individual volunteer or identify the group you represent during registration.

  1. 01

    Register Online

Every volunteer must complete their own registration through the official volunteer portal.

  2. 02

    Individual or Group

Volunteering alone? No group is required. With an organization? Enter the same group name as the other members.

  3. 03

    Complete Your Shift

Arrive on time, complete the full assigned shift and check in and out. Instructions are sent during race week.

Optional Group Program

Group thank-you donations.

This optional program lets qualifying schools, clubs, teams, nonprofits, workplaces and community organizations turn completed volunteer shifts into a donation for their group. Individual volunteers are equally welcome.

A donation—not hourly pay. Funds go to the qualifying organization, not individual volunteers.
Use one group name. Every member registers individually and enters the same group name so shifts are credited correctly.

Group Donation Guidelines

What your group needs to know.

Minimum
Complete at least six verified volunteer shifts to qualify. Groups that do not reach the minimum do not receive a donation.
Donation
Qualified organizations receive $15 for every completed and verified shift, including the first six.
Example
Twelve verified shifts result in a $180 donation to the participating organization.
Verify & Pay
Every volunteer must arrive on time, complete the full assigned shift, and check in and out. Late, incomplete, cancelled, or unverified shifts are excluded. Checks are mailed approximately four to six weeks after verification.
