Relay Teams – 2 or 3 Members
Registration
Team Setup: One person (team captain) registers themselves and pays the full team entry, establishing the team by name.
Teammates: After the captain registers, other members join the team at no cost by selecting the team from the “Join Team” dropdown during registration.
Packet Pickup
One team member may pick up the entire team packet.
Follow the standard procedures for picking up packets for others.
Each team receives one of each item, except cycling jerseys and finisher medals—each member receives their own.
See the [Packet Pickup Page] for details.
Transition
Relay teams rack bikes and set up gear like all other participants.
Teams may enter and exit transition freely throughout the morning, even when closed to others.
Timing Chip
Each team gets one chip, placed on the bike rack next to your spot.
Chip Flow:
Runner attaches chip to left ankle, completes the first run, then once in transition, swaps with biker.
Biker completes ride, swaps chip back to runner.
Always keep the chip on the left ankle, especially during the bike leg, to avoid damage from the crank.
Finisher Medals
The runner collects all team medals at the finish line and distributes them post-race.

2 mi Run • 15 mi Bike • 3.1 mi Run (No Swim)
The first 2 mi run is shorter and follows a different course than the final 3.1 mi run.
Duathletes follow the same rules and procedures as individual triathletes.
Start: Just outside transition on a 2 mi out-and-back course along the dike.
Final Run: 3.1 mi course is the same as the triathlon finish.
All duathletes receive a finisher medal, post-race food and drinks, and packet pickup items (except swim cap).
Awards are given to the overall top male and female duathletes.
