Past/Average Race Day Conditions

• Air Temperature: Typically low 70s in the morning, rising to 75–80°F during the race

• Water Temperature: Just above awards-legal wetsuit range, slightly below non-awards wetsuit threshold

• Finish Line: Chlorinated ice baths, plenty of cold water, Gatorade, and beer (21+)

Severe Weather Policy

• In lightning, flooding, or high winds, the race will be delayed 20 minutes.

• If conditions persist, we’ll reassess every 20 minutes.

• Possible adjustments: shortened course, duathlon, or run-only.

• Athlete safety is our top priority; all decisions prioritize your well-being.
