Sun & Ski Sports generously provides the packet-pickup location, but pickup is operated by Texas City Triathlon race staff—not store employees. Please do not call the store with race or packet-pickup questions. Direct all event questions to the race organizers.

Choose either standard pickup day at Sun & Ski Sports at no additional cost. Packet Shipping and Race Morning Pickup are optional paid add-ons.

What to Bring
  • Registration QR code emailed during race week
  • Government-issued photo ID
Picking Up for Someone Else

You may collect another athlete’s packet when you bring:

  • The athlete’s registration QR code
  • A copy or photo of the athlete’s photo ID
  • Written permission by handwritten note, email or text
Packet Contents
  • Swim cap for Triathlon and Aquabike participants
  • Helmet and bike identification stickers
  • Run bib when applicable
  • Your selected cycling jersey or unisex event T-shirt
Before You Leave

Check your packet before leaving the store. Confirm that all applicable numbers, stickers and apparel items are included and correct.

Timing Chip

Timing chips are not included in your packet. Your chip and ankle strap will be attached to your assigned bike-rack spot in transition.

Secure the strap to your left ankle on race morning and return it immediately after finishing.

Both alternatives must be purchased in advance during registration. They are not included with standard registration.

Please plan ahead. Standard race-morning packet pickup is not available. Only athletes who purchased the $20 Race Morning Packet Pickup add-on in advance may collect a packet Saturday morning.

How to Add an Add-On

Packet Shipping

$25

Packets are shipped with tracking approximately one to two weeks before the race. Keep your shipping address current. Packets lost in transit will be replaced at no charge.

A lost packet—or a packet marked delivered but not received—may be replaced for $50.

Registration add-on

Race Morning Pickup

$20

Pickup anytime from 5:00–6:30 AM.

Pickup is at the Jaycee Pavilion in Rainbow Park, within Bay Street Park. Arrive by 6:30 AM to prepare before transition closes at 7:00 AM. Timing chips remain at assigned bike racks.
